About the hotel
Although the hotel has a discrete and elegant façade of a seventeenth century grand house, the guests will be surprised by the matisse blue of the walls which greet you on entering and the stone staircase which takes you up to a terrace which is surrounded by exuberant greenery. The peace is absolute, which is ideal for reading a good book, having a pot of tea or a glass of wine, relaxing and dreaming in beautiful teak chairs while breathing in the aromas of a different Lisbon.
The hotel is located in the Rua das Janelas Verdes, in the aristocratic district of lapa, next to the Museum of Ancient Art and 10 km from the airport. It is a 5-minute walk to train station Cais do Sodré and metro.
